Where is Christina Deyo? making egg noodles which are really easy to make

I was making a special dinner for the family and the recipe called for egg noodles.  I didn't have any packaged noodles in my pantry but instead of running to the grocery store I thought I should attempt to make some by hand...after all the ingredients call for flour, egg, milk and butter--which I did have handy.  I found them to be very easy to make.

Here is the recipe if you want to try at home....:if you watched the video you may notice I doubled the recipe (cause we have 8 in our family)

• Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 tablespoon butter

  Directions

  1. In a large bowl, stir together the flour and salt. Add the beaten egg, milk, and butter. Knead dough until smooth, about 5 minutes. Let rest in a covered bowl for 10 minutes.
  2. On a floured surface, roll out to 1/8 or 1/4 inch thickness. Cut into desired lengths and shapes.
  3. Allow to air dry before cooking.
  4. To cook fresh pasta, in a large pot with boiling salted water cook until al dente.
